Reduce Lag on ROBLOX

This article will teach you how to reduce lag on ROBLOX.

Steps

  1. Search "Run" on your computer and open it.
  2. Type in %appdata%. Hit "Enter," and it will bring you to a file folder.
  3. At the top, click on "AppData".
  4. Click on "Local", not "LocalLow" or "Roaming".
  5. In "Local," search for the folder that is named "Roblox." Click on it, and it should bring up a bunch of items.
  6. Look for the folder that says "Versions" and click on it.
  7. Search for the version folder with "ROBLOX Player," not "ROBLOX Studio."
  8. Select the item that says "PlatformContent" and click on it.
  9. Click on "PC".
    • You should now see 2 folders, "Terrain" and "Textures."
  10. Click on "Textures" and delete ALL of the items except for the 2 bottom ones ("studs" and "wangIndex").
  11. Go to Recycle Bin and empty it.
  12. Play a ROBLOX game and you should notice that the lag is gone. Also, if some game objects have missing textures, you'll know why.
