Remove Beetroot Stains
Beetroot stains anything it touches. Getting it out of clothing, table linen or other fabric is dependent on fast action. Here's are two methods, provided the item or garment is washable.
Steps
Using Detergent
- Rinse the item or clothing under the cold water tap (faucet) straight away.
- Soak in biological detergent. Alternatively work in undiluted liquid detergent into the stain.
- Rinse.
- Wash as usual. If you acted fast enough, the stain should come out.
Using Bread
- Soak a piece of bread in cold water.
- Place the soaked bread over the stain.
- Wait until the bread has absorbed the stain and remove.
- Wash item or garment as usual.
Tips
- If the clothing is not washable, use a sponge to try to dab out the stain. If it can be run under cold water, do so. Otherwise, get it to the dry cleaner's quickly!
