Sanitize an RV or Motor Home Water System with the Sanitize It RSVU03 System

You can easily sanitize and disinfect the entire potable water system in your RV Motor Home. Quickly kill all bacteria, fungi and pathogens without using dangerous chemicals or chemical residue. These instructions require the Sanitize-It RSVU03 product.

Steps

  1. Completely drain the RV's potable water tank.
  2. Connect your fresh water fill hose (the RVSU03 accepts a standard garden hose connection) to the Inlet side of the RVSU03.
  3. Connect the in-line carbon filter (using standard garden hose connections) to the Outlet side of the RVSU03.
  4. Connect the outlet side of the carbon filter to your potable water tank inlet.
  5. Plug the RVSU03 into any 110/120v AC supply.
  6. Turn on the RVSU03 timer for approximately 1 hour (exact time is not critical for initial clean water fill).
  7. Open your fresh water source valve and start filling the RV's potable water tank. Close your fresh water source valve and turn off the RVSU03 when the tank is completely filled.
  8. Remove all the hoses to the RVSU03. Secure the supplied plug cap to the Inlet side of the RVSU03.
  9. Connect the supplied bubbler hose to the RVSU03 Outlet side. Place the bubbler hose down into the potable water inlet of your RV until it reaches into the tank (there is an indicator mark on the bubbler hose to help guide you).
  10. Turn on the RSVU03's timer to run for a specified amount of time based upon your RV's approximate potable water tank size as follows: {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} = 1 hour, {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} = 1.5 hours, {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} = 2.5 hours.
  11. After the timer turns off, run any potable water source in the RV, such as the kitchen sink faucets, bathroom sink faucets, and drinking faucets for 2 minutes to allow the ozonated water to sanitize the faucet water circuits.
  12. Drain the entire RV potable water tank.
  13. Repeat process for filling the tank. However you won't have to run the ozonated water through the water circuits mentioned in step 7 or drain the tank as mentioned.
  14. Your system now contains filtered and completely sanitized potable water.
