Save Leftover Yarn

Have you ever knitted/crocheted a project and had some yarn left over? But you never seem to be able to use it and you don't want to throw it away. Well times have changed and the "Magic Ball" has come to existence.

Steps

  1. Get together all leftover yarn scraps after you complete each project.
  2. Check that the yarn is all about the same gauge before placing together.
  3. Tie all the scraps together. Label each one with the type of yarn, gauge (if possible) and date of making the bundle.
  4. Use up the "new" yarn for new projects. This will help all of your yarn stretch a lot further.

Tips

  • If your yarn isn't all the same gauge, don't panic! Now it will just look different and unique!
