- From a man: Phom (I - masculine) Rak (love) Khun (you)
- From a woman: Chan (I - feminine) Rak Khun
Other phrases to express your love
- You are beautiful: Khun su-ay (beautiful) mak (very).
- You are cute: Khun narak (cute) / Khun narak mak.
- I miss you: Phom/Chan Khit-Theung (miss) Khun.
- (Adding "Khrap" for a man, "Kha" for a woman, makes any statement very polite and pretty.)
- CHOKE DEE! (Good Luck!)
Tips
- Remember to smile.
- Be aware of how you touch the person you love, feet are disrespectful and shouldn't be used to touch or indicate anything, and one shouldn't pat another's head with their hands.
- If you bow your head a little you can indicate respect.
- Public displays of affection are uncomfortable in Thailand, save it for when you are alone.
