Set the Date and Time on an Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) in a 1993 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee
If your 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee came equipped with a screen in the lower portion of the center stack (called the Electronic Vehicle Information Center, or 'EVIC'), then you can set the current date and time easily and quickly.
Steps
- Turn your vehicle's ignition to 'ON' or 'RUN'.
- On the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC), press and hold the 'SET' button until the date and time starts flashing.
- Use the 'SELECT' button to move between Hours (1-12), Minutes (00-59), Hours (AM or PM), Days (SUN-MON), Months (JAN-DEC), and Dates (1-31).
- Press and hold the 'SELECT' button until the EVIC returns to normal mode and the time and date or correctly set.
