Shop at Abercrombie

You know those stores that everyone loves to shop at? Abercrombie & Fitch? Or Abercrombie kids? Well, if it's your first time shopping there, Abercrombie is not just a clothing store it's a way of life!

Steps

  1. PICK YOUR STORE - Abercrombie can mean two stores: Abercrombie & Fitch, where is for older teens and college students, and the other store is Abercrombie, which is targeted to the ages of 8-16. If you can fit into Abercrombie, it's best to go there because the clothes are much cheaper.
  2. GO TO YOUR STORE - Go to abercrombie.com or abercrombiekids.com for store locations.
  3. BUY WHAT YOU LIKE - The front tables boasts their newest clothing. Most of the jeans and polos can be found on the walls. The back of the store, however, is the best place to be. Try finding things you like, then find them in your price range, then if you still have the item you like - find your size. Abercrombie does have a pretty limited size department. The sale section has tons of good deals. Here are some of the basics:
    • BUY TANK-TOPS - Each store sells solid-colored tank-tops in different colors such as brown, blue, pink, etc. Stock up on these and you can wear them in a lot of ways. Under shirts, under tube-tops, or just pair it with a pair of jeans. The solid-colored tank-tops are around $20.00 each at Fitch and $15.00-$20.00 at the younger store (depending on which style you buy). Of course, it is more price-conscience to simply buy the tank tops elsewhere because, if you layer, no one really sees it anyway.
    • Get some JEANS - Jeans come in every blue from super light to rinse. The styles can hug your ankles or billow out like bells, be as holey as Swiss cheese, or embellished with zippers and sequins. The more complex the jeans are (ex. super skinny, ripped, etc.), the higher they run. If you can fit into Abercrombie, it's recommended you buy the jeans there because Fitch jeans are very expensive, often topping one hundred dollars.
    • Find some good PERFUMES - Each store carries a line of perfume. Perfumes at Abercrombie range from $20.00-$35.00 while at Fitch the perfumes prices range from $25.00-$45.00.

Tips

  • The Abercrombie kids store is guaranteed to always be cheaper then the Fitch store.
  • Don't forget to check online for sales.
  • Always check out the clearance section. You just might find something you like for a good price.
  • Don't be angry/sad at your self if you can't fit into anything at either store; if you can't fit into anything at the kids store, try the clearance section at the Fitch store.
  • Sizes vary. So it would be better if you bought items in store rather than online.
  • Bags will also go in clearance along with scarves and perfumes, so search carefully.
  • Abercrombie and Fitch and Abercrombie Kids sell the same things, so check the kids store for a cheaper version of what you see at Abercrombie and Fitch.
  • Check the size chart on both websites so you know what size to get before you go into the stores.
  • If you see something you really like but it happens to be really expensive(example, a logo tee-shirt from Abercrombie & Fitch, price is $30 - $35.00) wait until it goes in the clearance section. Most of the clothes in the clearance used to be very expensive.

Warnings

  • Abercrombie and Hollister shops are dark and loud which makes it difficult to see what your buying so remember to look closely and examine your item before rushing ahead to buy it. Say you picked up what you thought were the perfect navy sweat pants but when you leave the store and look into your bag it turns out that the sweat pants are maroon!
  • Clothing from Abercrombie Kids and Abercrombie & Fitch can be expensive.
  • Clothes from Abercrombie Kids won't fit properly if you're over 5'4.
  • Only shop in these stores if you like the clothes they sell, not just to fit in with a crowd!
  • Music blares really loudly in both stores
