Smell Your Freshest After Showering
Have you ever showered with a commercial brand soap or gel and you came out not smelling like the soap, or it just wasn't as fresh as you hoped it would be? Time to combat this little disappointment.
Steps
- Put everything you will need inside your bathroom so there will be no distractions once you get into the shower (see below).
- Turn the water on and adjust the temperature to your liking. Consider clipping your nails before getting into the shower so you can scrub under your fingernails while in the shower.
- Remove your garments.
- Step in the shower.
- Get yourself soaked in the water (make sure it's everywhere).
- Pick up your shower cloth (small square towel).
- Pick up your soap and lather your rag until it's very soapy; better yet, hot and soapy.
- Rub all over your body thoroughly until you're soapy. Pay special attention to the armpits, the crotch, the feet, and the butt. Use some friction for the armpit area, don't just run the rag over your pits and expect them to be clean.
- Don't forget to wash your hair. Lather, rinse, repeat. Always repeat. Dirty hair will make your best efforts useless.
- Rinse off and step out of the shower.
- Dry yourself off with your towel. Make sure it's a clean, not smelly, towel.
- Squirt your baby lotion or baby oil in your hands and rub onto your body.
- Put some baby powder on your neck and chest (or wherever else needed).
Warnings
- Putting smelly clothes on after showering is counterproductive. Make sure your clothes are as clean as you are.
- Loofahs are used to exfoliate -- not clean you properly.
- Remember, slapping on deodorant or cologne instead of showering isn't fooling anyone. It just makes you even more repulsive!
