Use Honey in the Bath

We all know honey tastes great, but did you know your skin can benefit from honey too? Honey has a place not only in your kitchen, but near your bath. Honey is a natural humectant that promotes moisture retention, and can be used not only on skin but for your hair as well. Here are some simple methods to put nature's sweetest treat to a naturally good and hygienic use.

Tips

  • This is not recommended for regular showering routine.

For soft, smooth skin, slather on some good quality honey while your skin is still wet and massage in. Honey is packed with trace elements that nourish your skin.

  • Make your honey bath, and soak for 10 to 20 minutes. Take a quick shower to rinse your body.
  • Avoid soaking your hair in the mixture. Honey can be great for moisturizing hair, but salt is not good for it. Add honey to your conditioner if you want to use it on your hair.
