Change a Fuse Inside a Cigarette Adapter

Now more and more exterior LED camping Light will include a cigarette connector for power charging purpose. But after year of usage, the light can not be lit up for some reason. One common reason is, the fuse inside the cigarette adaptor has been burnt. This article is to show you how to change to cigarette adaptor step by step.

Steps

  1. Remove the protective red cap at the end. Just rotate it at the clockwise direction, then you can easily remove the red cap.
  2. Use a screw driver to open the black body. Then you can divide the cigarette adapter into two section and see the inside construction. Insides which, an accessory with transparent tube construction is the fuse you need to replace.
  3. Replace the fuse with a new one, then inspect the fuse holder.
  4. Restore the cigarette adapter by screwing it. Put back the red protective cap.
