Write a Sales Script
Sales Pitch is the conversation between you and your prospect. Your Sales Pitch should be Interesting and should provoke the Prospects to talk to you. Here are the things you need to remember as you prepare your Sales Pitch.
Steps
- Greetings: This is when your Client first hears your voice. You need to sound professional here. Just a simple hi will make you sound casual. Greet them with Good Morning or Good Afternoon depending on what time of the day it is.
- Introduction: Let them know who you are. Just your name, your Company Name and talk in brief about your Company. Do not introduce your products right away. You can put across your achievements here. Keep it short.
- Ask Questions: You have told them enough about yourself here. It is time to gauge the Client now. Ask logical questions. Always ask a close ended question followed by an open ended question. For Example, You can ask them what brand they are using right now, followed by asking them about their experience. Close ended questions can be answered in one word, while open ended make them talk more.
- Call to Action: You called them for a reason. You want them to buy your product or you want to arrange a meeting with them. What is your motive behind the call? Provoke that immediate response by using imperative verb such as “Buy Now”, “Find out more”.
Tips
- Do write your own sales pitch using these points and read it loud. Record it and listen to yourself, do you sound convincing enough? Practice till you think you are perfect. The best of sales people practice their calls in their mind before they make the call.
