If you are not happy with the latest Yahoo Mail - too cluttered and confusing, this article is for you. It's a little bit tricky because there is no option in Yahoo Help to actually switch to Yahoo Classic. It's recommended by the article's author to print this article out and keep it in a safe place in case your Yahoo account is broken into (hacked) and changed without your permission. (It's highly possible).
Steps
- Open Yahoo Mail and click on Help option (located up on the top. on the tool bar)
- In the Search window type "switch to Yahoo Mail Classic" (as shown on image) and click Search button
- Among the other records you get you should get "Can I switch back to a previous version of Yahoo Mail?" (see image)
- Click on the record's title words in blue to open it up
- Read the text and find the words "click here" in blue (see image)
- Click on these words! That's it. You are done.
- It will automatically switch your Yahoo Mail to Yahoo Classic.
Tips
- It's important to find a precise record described in step 3 containing these "click here" words, otherwise you can be looking for the "switch tool" for a long time.
