Avoid Junk Food at Work

If you are living for today then you don't need to go through this article.Our eating habits play a vital role in our physical as well as our mental health.Junk food may turn into an addiction, but always remember that cure is possible as the saying goes"where there is a will there is a way".

  1. Realize that stress can drive you to eat unnecessarily. At work everyone faces mental stress. Lots of emotions go through your mind. Some turn into junk food to overcome this emotional stress. Focusing your attention on saturated fats is a good step. Saturated fats include coconut oil,organic eggs,dark chocolate(70% or more cacao content),organic raw certified butter and organic ground beef.These saturated fats help to curb negative emotions also.
  2. If you can't go for saturated fats, then try home food.It's not that practical in today's fast life and working shifts but still I feel you can give it a try. Always stock your refrigerator with lots of fruits and vegetables.Home food definitely cause less damage than restaurants.
  3. If you are saying no to saturated fats and home food and still lust for junk food, then avoid dishes labelled pan fried, deep fried, crispy, creamy, basted, breaded, scalloped or in cream sauce which are unhealthy fats. Always remember to drink lots of water.

Tips

  • Always order a side salad instead of fries.
  • If you tend to overeat resist the temptation for some minutes to make sure you really feel hungry.
