Snack Healthy During Your Work Day

This is just a short article on different healthy snacks that you can have during your working day. It is in no way conclusive and it is always a good idea to check the information on packaged food.

Steps

  1. Bring Fruit: Either taking in whole fruit such as apples, oranges or pears, slices of fruit, such as melons or pineapple or a fresh fruit salad. If you don't want to pay supermarket prices for a pre-made fruit salad then make it yourself at home. If you make a large bowl store it the fridge and just fill up a smaller container to take to work. Make sure you have a fork or spoon to eat it with.
  2. Eat Yogurt: A simple fruit yogurt can be a healthy snack - make sure to put it in the fridge when you get to work though.
  3. Add Vegetables: try cutting some vegetables (such as carrot or pepper) into sticks, you can have these with a dip or salad dressing (but check how healthy the dip is) some people have them with peanut butter. Wash and slice at home and bring in as a nice healthy crunchy snack.
  4. Try Cereal or Granola bars: these can be a healthy snack, but check the ingredients. These can suffer from too much sugar. Some people recommend making your own.
