Be Calm Like a Ninja

Have you ever envied Ninjas and their cool, calm perspective? Do you just want to be collectively cool? Ninjas are synonymous with everything smooth and powerful. To be calm like a ninja, you'll need some serious determination, perseverance, and the mental ability to get zen. Are you up to the challenge?

Steps

  1. Breathe. Stay relaxed. If there's something or someone annoying you, breathe in and out before dealing with it.
  2. Forget comments other people say about you, unless they're nice. If someone is trying to make you angry, just forget about them, walk away, and go do something worth your time and effort.
  3. Respect yourself. Respect others. If you know that you're an amazing person (which you are) then you should know that you will get yourself through things, and therefore don't need to freak out over anything.
  4. Focus on things that truly matter. Don't obsess over tiny mistakes, and take in the big picture. Try to avoid channeling your energy on things that you don't want to do, or that make you angry or upset.
  5. Don't show emotion. Ninjas never show emotion during a mission because they get in the way, and it could get you in bigger trouble. For example, say you got caught by the enemy. They may ask you a few questions, like "What are you doing here?" Then, if you show emotion like fear, they'll know that you are definitely up to something. Likewise, if you show someone that they are bothering you they're more likely to continue. (Note: This does not mean don't show any emotion at all, just don't show your weaknesses. If you're hanging out with your friends on Saturday night and one of them makes a joke you find to be funny, don't be afraid to laugh)
  6. Finished.

Tips

  • Try not to stress out over the small things. If you do find yourself becoming stressed, try meditating, yoga, or taking a bubble bath. Aroma therapy also works well.
  • if you feel stressed, angry or about to explode go find a quiet spot where you can think things through.
  • Always be friendly and gain other people's respect and trust. The more people who are your friends, the less people you will have to worry about.
  • Get enough sleep.

Warnings

  • If you are too distant or cold, people will wonder what's wrong with you. This is not good for a ninja.
  • Ninjas by nature have many different enemies. If you aren't good at defending your ninja honor, then being calm like a ninja might not work for you.
