Be a Computer Genius As a Kid

Follow these steps to become a computer genius as a kid.

Steps

  1. Get to know computers. Study different computers and find out how they work. Try looking at yours or your friend's computer or search the web for information on how computers work, and how all the operators work and know how to make a computer.
  2. Get to know some other computer interested people and talk about computers and programming.
  3. Explore the internet and learn about how the internet works.
  4. Learn HTML5 , JavaScript and CSS3. JavaScript will give you a basic introduction to programming, and then you can move on to more advanced ones used to create programs. HTML5 is the building block of webpages and an insight into the structure of webpages. CSS3 will help you style your website. Note that HTML , JavaScript and CSS3 are used to create sites, not programs.
  5. Learn some kind of basic programming language. Python is good to start with. Some other examples include C, C++, Java, Perl, and others. There are many different sites that can teach you this. If you like to read a book instead, you could buy or borrow a book about programming. However, always make sure the books are up-to-date.
  6. Create some simple computer programs. Then, when you have almost mastered a computer language, begin creating advanced programs.
  7. If someone's computer has a problem or breaks down and needs to be fixed, why not try to help? If you don't manage to fix it, then you at least learned something while trying.
  8. There are many more aspects of the computer you still need to learn. Why not search wikiHow for computer guides and learn a lot more?
  9. Practice these steps.
