Become Pretty on the Inside and Out
Have you ever wondered why all the "Mr. Perfects" always seem to choose the girl that seems just as plain as can be but he simply adores her? Well that's because beauty has to start on the inside.
Steps
- Stay True to Yourself. In order to become pretty on the inside, you need to stay true to yourself. Find things that interest you and make you unique. These are the little things that guys tend to adore in their companions.
- Have self confidence. In order for a guy to think that you are pretty, you've got to believe it first. One of my most favorite quotes is this one from the 1950s film The Rainmaker: "Every real woman is pretty. They're all pretty in a different way, but they're all pretty." If you know this, there is nothing to stop you.
- Don't get hung up on the flaws, and try to focus on what you like about yourself. Your smile, your hair, whatever. Once you start to focus on the good, the bad starts to take the back seat.
- Be what you want your guy to be. If you want a sensitive guy, you need to be sensitive, too, but still be you. Make sure no other girl takes his heart away from yours and if he does tell him how you feel. Always remember, don't change yourself for the sake of others. If he doesn't accept you for who you are, then he is not the man you want to be with.
- You need to also have good taste in clothing. It's important to be well-presented in the eyes of others. Get clothes that look flattering on you and only highlight your best aspects.
- Remember to be true to yourself and don't forget who you are.
Tips
- Don't put others down to make yourself feel better. No one likes that. Don't gossip or complain either especially not in front of a guy. They don't like that.
- Keep your head up and shoulders back. Stand tall.
- Don't be afraid to show your "true colors!"
- Believe in yourself. You are beautiful no matter what anyone thinks of you!
- Be true to yourself.
- Be yourself.
- Do not change yourself for the sake of others.
- Don't follow what others are telling you to do.
- If there is anyone you should change, it should not be yourself. You'll be nothing but unhappy and they'll never get a real chance to see if they like you or not.
- If he says "get more pretty then we can be together" then all he is interested is what the outside looks like, and not the inside.
- Everyone is pretty in their own way. Behave and act like yourself.
- Know that you have a lot to offer.
- Everyone is pretty in a way to others. Never look down on anyone's looks at least.
- Don't tolerate negativity about who you are from anyone. Accept yourself, own yourself, and most importantly, love yourself.
