Steps
- Take your car some place that has a wide lane and no traffic or police near you. Distant parking lots and drag strips are best.
- Start the car on a spot where you won't roll back or forward.
- Make sure your parking brake is completely off and your wheels are straight.
- With the clutch in, rev your engine until it's about 1000rpms short of redlining it. Mind you, doing this is bad for your car.
- Quickly let the clutch out and floor your accelerator.
- If you have done everything appropriately you should be burning out.
Tips
- RWD cars are better for this.
- Some tires are made to not smoke so you might just be burning your clutch. The smell of clutch is much different then rubber.
- Be prepared because many cars like to slide right off the bat.
- Make sure your car is straight or you will start sliding in one direction instantly.
Warnings
- If you do this in front of a cop they can ticket and maybe arrest you for exhibition of speed and or reckless driving.
- This is not the best thing to be doing with your time and burns out your clutch.
- Messing around with your car like this is a hazard to everyone around you.
