Catch Darkrai Using Action Replay

Have you ever wanted the legendary Pokémon Darkrai? Then you are in the right place! Follow these simple instructions and you will catch Darkrai easily!

Steps

  1. Put the code to get Darkrai in your Action Replay.
  2. Press the L+R buttons (after activating the code).
  3. Go to any Pokemart.
  4. Talk to the man in green. He will give you a member's card.
  5. Make sure you have gotten rid of the sailor's son's nightmares (that were induced by Darkrai) before you go to Canalave City. Save the game before talking to Darkrai.
  6. Go to the Abandoned Motel. There Darkrai, in the form of a human, will put you in a bed, and you will fall asleep and awaken on Newmoon Island.
  7. Darkrai will be there. Just look around.
  8. Get into a battle with Darkrai and try your best to capture him. Good luck!

Alternate steps

  1. If you don't have Mystery Gift, then here's another way to get Darkrai with an Action Replay.
  2. Turn on the Walk Anywhere cheat.
  3. You'll be able to walk through anywhere! You can use this code to get a lot of things, but for now, go to Canalave City.
  4. Sail to Fullmoon Island. You must have the National Pokedex. If you don't have it, get it!
  5. With the walk anywhere code in, keep walking to the right from Fullmoon Island. You'll eventually end up on Newmoon Island.
  6. Go into the opening. You'll see Darkrai.
  7. Try your best to catch Darkrai!

Tips

  • You must have the Mystery gift enabled.
  • Bring lots of Ultra Balls and Full Restores.
  • Do not use your Master Ball! Save it for Arceus (another legendary Pokémon you can get from the Action Replay)!
