Catch Feebas in Pokémon Sapphire
Feebas has been known as the "Magikarp of the Hoenn Region," and, like Magikarp, can evolve into a terrific and powerful Pokémon! However, unlike Magikarp, you will not find this Pokémon every time you cast your line in the water! Here's how it's done:
Steps
- Head to Route 119.
- Head down to the water and Surf on your Pokémon's back.
- Fish using Super Rod. Feebas can only be found in six of the tiles on the water, and the tiles are randomized at the beginning of the game. Try each tile 1-3 times each.
- Still can't find it? Fly out to Dewford Town and change the "Trendy Phrase". Then, repeat steps 1-3.
- Keep trying! As long as you have plenty of patience and time on your hands, Feebas is pretty easy to catch, and well worth the time!
Tips
- If you're already pretty far into the game, or have even beaten it, make sure to bring a Pokémon of around level 20 or 30, so that you won't KO your hard-earned Feebas!
- Feebas is a terrible Pokémon itself, but, if you boost its Beauty ranking up as far as it will go, it will evolve into a beautifully powerful Milotic!
