Change Who Can See Your Messenger Day on Android

This article teaches you how to control who can view your Messenger Day story when you're using an Android.

Steps

  1. Open Facebook Messenger. It’s the blue chat bubble icon with a white lightning bolt inside. You’ll typically find it on your home screen or in the app drawer.
  2. Tap the profile icon. It’s the gray and white outline of a person at the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap My Day.
  4. Tap Everyone to chose who cannot view your Day. This brings up a list of your contacts.[1] Each name has a corresponding gray box. To block someone from your Day, tap their name so a check mark appears in their box.
  5. Tap the back button. This brings you back to your Day settings.
  6. Tap Custom to choose who can view your Day. Everyone who can view your Day has a blue check mark next to their name. Tapping someone’s name will remove the check mark, making them unable to see your day.
    • To remove everyone at once, tap , tap Unselect All, then tap OK to confirm. You can manually add people back by tapping their names.
