Cheat in the Sims 2

The Sims 2, Created by Will Wright, is one of the best and most accurate life sims around. But sometimes it can get pretty frustrating...

Steps

  1. Go into the game and hold down "Control" + "Shift" + "C" simultaneously. A white box at the top screen will come up. This is the box that you will type all of your cheat codes into. After this, press the "Enter" key. To expand the cheat box, type in expand and the cheat box will get bigger.
  2. Close the cheat window by typing in exit in the cheat window.
  3. Shift click on the mailbox to access special features and Shift click on your sim to access special features.

Aliens

  1. Get abducted by aliens. Open the cheat window in a lot and type BoolProp testingcheatsenabled true and then moveObjects on. Use the telescope and shift + click on it and choose get abducted. The spaceship will soon arrive to beam you up.

Career

  1. Gain aspiration points by typing in aspirationpoints +(number). For example, if you want 90,000 points, you would use "aspirationpoints +90000".
  2. Get all of the career rewards by typing in unlockcareerrewards.

Life

  1. Change the time by typing in setHour (time). For example, if you want to change the time to 5 am, type "setHour 05".
  2. Prevent aging by typing in aging off. If you want to age them, type in aging on.
  3. Change the height of your Sims. Type in stretchskeleton (number). The actual height of a Sim is 1.0. For a smaller Sim, use 0.5. If you want a little taller, use 1.1.
  4. Invite more guests to your party. Go into the neighborhood view and type in intprop maxnumofvisitingsims(number). So if you want 15 Sims, you would put "intprop maxnumofvisitingsims15".
  5. Set the age group of your Sims. Use the boolprop cheat. Hold down the "Shift" key and click on any Sim. Choose "Spawn", "More", and "Sim Modder". A baby should pop-up. Click on the baby and click "Set Age". It will give you the option of toddler, child, teen, adult, and elder.
    • If you turn a pregnant adult sim into anything but an adult, they will no longer be pregnant. To get a pregnant teenager, you must download the hack.
  6. To get the Grim Reaper Statue, go into buy mode or pause and and press ctrl,Shift,C. Type in "MoveObjects on" without the " (It is also case sensitive) into the cheat menu. Kill one of your sims that you don't want. If you have a sim that you want to keep, make sure that there is someone very close to them that can plea to the grim reaper. As soon as you see the grim reaper, go To buy mode and pick him up. Pick him up and hold down shift. Without letting go of the shift button, put the Grim Reaper back down and you should be holding a clone of your Grim Reaper. Then place him where you want him. Plea to the real grim reaper to save your loved one. You better hope that they love them as much as you think they do otherwise your sim is gone! You can also kill a neighbour walking past. But sometimes it will still be one of your other Sims from a different family so be careful there. Note: You cannot control the grim reaper, but it is still really fun and like I made two of them and put them as statues at my Sims house.
  7. Refill the fridge fast by using the boolprop cheat. Type in move_objects on in the house view. Hold down the "Shift" key and click on the refrigerator. Click on "Restock". Your fridge will be completely full again.
  8. Give your Sim a makeover. Get the Dr. Vu's Automatched Cosmetic Surgeon career reward to re-make your Sim's face. (To get this reward quickly, hold ctrl+c+shift and type unlockCareerRewards into the cheat box.) Then make your Sim go up to the mirror and click 'Change Appearance' to change your Sims hair, make-up and facial hair. Then go to the wardrobe, click 'Plan Outfits'. (You can go to the tailors to get new outfits.) Then type boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true into the cheat box, hold shift and click on your Sim. Click 'Set Aspiration' and choose a new aspiration. Then click on where you want their Sim's personality to be and what their interests to be.
  9. Sims can be invisible, but alive. You type in "boolproptestingcheatsenabled true" without the marks into the cheat box. Then hold shift and click on a certain Sim. Then click Rodney's creator. Then click on die by flies. Make a teenage Sim who is not related to the sim beg the grim reaper. After the Grim Reaper goes, click some other way of dying. Have the teenage Sim beg for them again. When the Grim Reaper begins to go away, click die by fire. And because it is so fast, the Grim Reaper won't come back and they will disappear! You can't take care of them any more, but if you go out to neighborhood view and look at the family photo, they will still be there!
  10. Get a A+ report card. Hold SHIFT and click on the mailbox go on more make sure you have your child selected then you should see something that says Kid gets A+ report card click on that then the school bus should come past and not stop then your kid SHOULD have a A+ report card.
  11. OR you can move objects on. Click on the child's homework and move it so that it is back into their hands after they have laid it down (if you don't catch them right after school they usually lay it down next to the computer desks, if you don't have a desk it should be in their bedrooms). Once the homework is back in their hands, make the do another option that involves picking up. Cleaning, painting are usually good options. Then, the homework will disappear and you won't have to make the child study anymore. The grades will go up per day just like you were making them do their homework. The only downfall is that you have to do this every day, but it's the easiest way in my opinion. Especially since the children have a low FUN gauge after they've been at school all day and it's hard to make them do their homework.
  12. If you want to raise their moods use Ctrl + SHIFT + c and type "maxmotives" in the cheat box and it will raise all the meters of moods for every one in the household.

Love

  1. To get sims naked use the Nude Cheat. This is an easy method to create nude Sims.
  2. Get engaged or married teenagers. Use the boolprop cheat. Hold the "Shift" key and click on a Sim. Choose "Spawn" and click on "Sim Modder". Turn them into an adult. Repeat this for the other teen you want to get married. Then get them to fall in love and get married (you can do this quickly by shift-clicking the mailbox, clicking "set pregnancy relationships with" and clicking on the desired Sim's name). Then use the Sim Modder to turn them back into a teenager or a kid or a toddler, and they will still be married.
  3. Woo-hoo in public by using the boolprop cheat. Drag the lifetime and daily relationship meter up to 100 on 2 different Sims. Drag the outgoing meter up to 10 and click try on clothing at a clothing store. Have the Sim choose "woohoo" and have them go in the changing room with the other Sim.

Money

Type in these cheats as much as you like. The familyFunds cheat overrules the two others. However, If you'd like to use the others anyway, after you type the cheat, highlight it, press Ctrl+C, enter, then Ctrl+V numerous times. It repeats!

  1. Gain $1,000 by typing in kaching.
  2. Gain $50,000 by typing in motherlode.
  3. Gain as much as $999,999 by typing in familyFunds [insert family name here] [amount].
  4. Extract (take away) money by typing in familyFunds [insert family name here] -[amount].

Moving Things Around

  1. To move things and access more features, type move_objects on. Turn this off by typing in move_objects off.
  2. Rotate your furniture 45 degrees by typing in boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation (true/false). You must have Sims 2 University to do this cheat.

Pregnancy

  1. Get twins, triplets, quads by typing in either forcetwins, forcetriplets, or quadforce for the amount of babies you want.
  2. Get an alien baby by using the boolprop cheat. (You must be playing the Sim you want pregnant). Hold down the "Shift" key, click on the Sim, and click on "Spawn". Choose the "Tombstone of L and D". After the tombstone appears, there will be an option that says "make pregnant with alien baby".
    • To get an alien baby without cheating, a male family member must be abducted by aliens. When the male comes back down, they will be pregnant and an alien Sim will be born.
  3. Make a pregnant Sim wear everyday clothing. Go into the neighborhood view and type in the boolprop cheat. Go to the families house. Hold down the "Shift" key, click on the pregnant Sim, and click on "Spawn". Choose the "Rodney's Clothing Tester" and a clothing rack should appear. Click on the clothing rack and select "Force Redress".
  4. Have a higher success chance of pregnancy by having the male as the selected character and have him click on the woman to try for a baby.
  5. Adopt a baby that looks like your sim. Make another family, including a toddler that looks like your other sim/sims. Then abuse it. Tip: (Do not make ANY of the sims in the family have a family aspiration.) The social worker will soon come and take it. Then go to the family you want to receive the baby. Adopt a baby and it will be the one created to look like your sim.
  6. Also if you want to same gender sims to have a baby, rather than adopting you can use the bool prop cheat. You must be careful with this cheat, do not leave it on your game too long because it has been known to cause crashes. The first thing you want to do is bring up the cheat box and enter boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true. Then if you click the sim you would like to get pregnant and while holding shift you will be able to click the option spawn. Once you click spawn continue clicking more till you see an option that says to generate a genetic combination with and choose the other member. To turn off the bool prop change the true to false.

Vampires

  1. Get rid of vampires. Get a Vampire-Fearless Sim to pick up the phone and go to "Manage Groups".
  2. Then create your group and name them "The Vampires".
  3. Put ALL Vampires in the town in the group, and include yourself in it.
  4. Wait till night falls.
  5. Then pick up the phone again and go to "Invite Group Over" and go to "Just For Fun". When you have the message that they are coming, pick up the phone, go to Service and ask for the Gypsy Matchmaker to come over.
    • Pretty soon, both Vampires and Matchmaker will arrive.
  6. Use the boolprop cheat and make each vampire selectable by holding down shift, clicking on each one, and pressing "Make selectable" Once they are all selectable you can do one of two things. Either send one up to the gypsy and purchase the vamprocillin-D (make sure to get enough for all the vampires on the lot.)
  7. Then give each vampire a gift, select the vamprocillin-D. Then one by one have them drink the vamprocillin-D. Or you can do it one by one and have each vampire go up to the gypsy and purchase their own.
  8. To get them to leave simply shift click and make each unselectable, then go back to the main Sim you created/are playing and do say goodbye too. and click everyone.
  9. Don't forget to dismiss the gypsy.

Skills

  1. Open into the neighbourhood screen and type in the 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' cheat.
  2. Choose which household you would like to play and enter it. You can either select an existing household, or create a new one and move them into a new house.
  3. On the bottom of the screen, find the skills panel. This is found by clicking on the career tab where you can find all of the skills listed in the right of the tab.
  4. Click on the skill you would like to increase and drag to the level that you would like to achieve. In some occasions, simply clicking would not work. You might have to shift click and drag the skill pallets.
