Clear Your Privacy Data on Mozilla Firefox

Clearing your browsing history, cache, cookies, saved passwords and authenticated sessions from your Mozilla Firefox browser can be done in a few simple steps.

Steps

XP Users

  1. Open your Mozilla Firefox Browser.
  2. In the toolbar on the top of the screen select the "Tools" button.
  3. Select the "Clear Private Data" button from the drop-down menu that appeared.
  4. Select the appropriate boxes that you wish to clear.
  5. Click the "Clear Private Data Now" button.
  6. Your privacy data has been cleared!

Vista Users

  1. Open your Mozilla Firefox browser.
  2. Click the drop down box that says "Tools".
  3. Press: Clear Private Data.
  4. Your cookies, browsing history, etc have now been deleted! (For Vista, it deletes all Private Data in just 1 click.)



Tips

  • For Vista users, you should have seen the blue "back" button turn gray.
  • Your browser may run faster if you clear your cookies and cache at least twice a month.
  • Alternately, press CONTROL + SHIFT + DELETE.
  • After completing step one you can press the Ctrl+Shift+Delete keys.
