Crop Images in iPhoto

iPhoto is a great way to enhance all of your photos. Do you feel like you want to crop the photo but do not know how? This article will help. Template:Historical

Steps

1. Open iPhoto.
2. Select either Events or Photos.
3. Double-click on the photo you want to crop.
4. Click Edit.
5. Choose the crop button.
   • (Optional) Choose a present aspect ratio.
6. Crop down the image then click apply.

1. Highlight the photo. Click 'Edit'.
2. Click 'crop'. The picture will now have a shaded border. Drag this border larger or smaller depending on where you want your photo to be cropped.
3. When you are happy with the result, click 'crop' again. It is only at this point that you can undo your cropping if it doesn't look good.
4. Click on 'done'. Your photo will save the new zoomed-in cropped version.

Tips

• Crop out the parts that you do not want shown in your photos
• You can always undo your changes via the Undo button.

Warnings

• Make sure you edit the right photo.
