Delete Your Pottermore Account
Do you want to delete your account with Pottermore? Previously, the popular wizarding website had not made it easy to remove yourself. However, now there is no longer a need to send them letters or emails to get it deleted. Start with step one, below, to delete your Pottermore account.
Steps
- Log in to your Pottermore account. This should take you directly to your profile. If it doesn't, click 'Profile' in the top right corner.
- Click on 'My Details'.
- Scroll down. At the bottom of the page, under 'Confirm Changes', there is small text that states, 'To close your Pottermore account, click here.' Click on the highlighted blue text.
- Enter your password and select 'Yes, close my account'.
- Congratulations! Your account is deleted.
Warnings
- Pottermore does retain some personal information once you're account is deleted. This will not completely remove "you" from the site.
