Do a Wrestling Powerbomb

Powerbomb is a very common and popular move in wrestling. It is used by almost all wrestlers and attempted by fans. This move takes a lot of strength and power to perform. Powerbombs are Dangerous and are not suitable for children under the age of 16.

Steps

  1. Stand up straight, have your opponent's head in between thighs, and bend your thighs a little. Make sure you are comfortable and so is your opponent.
  2. Place your hands around your opponent's chest, as lifting the opponent while holding the stomach would make it almost impossible to hoist the victim on your shoulders.
  3. At this point you will want to pull up on your opponent. However, in most cases, a dead lift isn't always plausible. In short, your opponent needs to help you lift him/her. When you begin to lift, they will need to push off of a mat to give an extra bit of momentum, making it easier for you to lift them. Your opponent should now have their legs either side of your head and their back touching your stomach. they will now need to "sit up" so they are on your shoulders looking behind you ( the quicker you do this, the better).
  4. Be aligned at the right height. Your opponent should be up to your shoulders with his stomach to your head. Drop them with force so that they land with their shoulders and back hits the mat evenly.

Tips

  • Take it slow and easy. This takes a lot of strength and power, work out. Do it on soft ground, for example, a trampoline, a bed or a real wrestling ring.
  • If desired you can push your arms to their full height while holding your opponent by the trousers or tights (Elevated Powerbomb/Last Ride) (more dangerous as opponent falls from a greater height) or Jump and stick your legs onto either side of your opponent and land with them (Sit-down Powerbomb/Batista Bomb) (actually safer than the regular version as it spreads the impact over a larger area.)
  • It is advisable to use this move on an opponent that weighs less than you for it is easier to pull them up and hold them.

Warnings

  • Make sure your on soft ground if done wrong you could SERIOUSLY HURT your opponent/friend
  • Muscle strains may occur. Broken necks or back if done on hard ground.

Things You'll Need
