Do an Instrument Test on a 2005 up Jeep

If you think your gauges aren't working correctly in your 2005 or later Jeep, then here's how to check them simply by following these instructions.

Steps

1. Place the main key in the ignition and turn to the Start mode.
2. Press the trip reset button in the instrument panel multiple times in a 5-10 second period. The gauges will do a sweep.
3. Remove the key from the ignition.

Tips

• DO NOT remove the key from the ignition until the car tells you its OK to do so.

Warnings

• If something is wrong with your Jeep's gauges, take it into the dealership ASAP.
