Draw Pictures of Pokémon

Pokémon (short for Pocket Monsters) are creatures that inhabit the Pokémon world. Learn how to draw a Pokémon by following the steps in this tutorial.

Steps

Pikachu

1. Create two circles for the head and the body.
2. Draw out other guidelines like the face, the ears, the hands with circles and lines. Also create ovals for the feet and a zig-zag line for the tail.
3. Start drawing out the Pokémon figure with small fingers and larger toes.
4. Draw other details like the eyes, the nose, the mouth and the tail.
5. Start coloring the drawing with the base colour.
6. Complete coloring the Pokémon character.

Pikachu Jumping

1. Create two circles for the head and body.
2. Draw out more guidelines for the character with guidelines for the face, the hands and feet, and the tail.
3. Start drawing out the character with darker lines, beginning with the ears and face.
4. Draw out the entire character using the guidelines.
5. Erase the guidelines and color the drawing in the base color.
6. Add some shading to the character.
7. Complete coloring the character.

Piplup

1. Draw a circle with a cross-section. The horizontal line is drawn below the half of the circle.
2. Draw the features of Piplup’s face. Draw oval rings for the eyes. Draw curves and zigzag lines. Draw a circle cut into half horizontally for the beak.
3. Draw a curve at the beak. Draw an oblong below the head.
4. Draw partial heart-shape below the head and draw two small circles at their tips.
5. Draw an elongated oval to form the feet.
6. Draw half triangles at the left and the right below the head. Use smooth curves.
7. Trace with a pen.
8. Color to your liking!

Fennekin

1. Draw a small circle with a cross-section.
2. Draw loops from the circles to form rabbit-like ears.
3. Draw the fluff from the ears using wave-like shapes or lines.
4. Draw the eyes and details of the face, nose and mouth. Indicate cat-like eyes.
5. Draw the body using an irregular oblong shape and a bulb-like shape for the tail.
6. Draw the limbs using smooth curve.
7. Refine and add details to the fur and tail.
8. Trace with a pen and erase unnecessary lines.
9. Color to your liking!
