Draw a Baseball Cap
Baseball caps have graced the heads of some of the cartoon world's famous characters--Hey Arnold, Ash from Pokémon, Bart Simpson, etc. Now your cartoon characters can have baseball caps too!
Steps
- Begin by drawing a semicircle. This will be the part of the hat that will rest on your head.
- Add the visor. To do so, first draw a rectangle, then add a small triangle beneath it. Also draw a small half-oval on top of the semicircle you drew in step one.
- Add the curves for the cap. This includes the curve of the visors and the division of the base (see image).
- Ink the drawing. Erase the sketch.
- Color and shade the drawing. You're done!
Alternate Method
- Start by drawing a hemisphere.
- At the right side of the hemisphere draw semi oval.
- Draw a curved line over the narrow part of the semi oval.
- Neatly outline the shape of the hat over the sketch.
- Carefully erase the sketch and add in details.
- Line the drawing with a black liner.
- Erase the pencil and add in color.
Tips
- You can also add the logo of your favorite team at the front of the base to make your cap more authentic!
