Draw a Princess

This tutorial will show you how to draw a beautiful princess. However, there are many ways to do this. Feel free to add your own creative spin to your own drawing!

Steps

Standing Princess

  1. Draw the egg-shaped outline sketch of the head.
  2. Add the face outlines.
  3. Add a cross for the outline sketches of the body.
  4. Add the skeleton outline sketches of the shoulders and the arms to the hands.
  5. Add the outline sketches of the dresses.
  6. Draw the actual lines for the ears, earrings and jawline.
  7. Add the actual lines of the brows and nose.
  8. Draw the actual lines of the eyes.
  9. Continue by drawing the upper lip.
  10. Continue drawing the lower lip.
  11. Add the neck and shoulders.
  12. Add the upper part of the dress.
  13. Draw the body.
  14. Draw the arms and hands.
  15. Finish drawing the dress.
  16. Draw the actual lines of the hair.
  17. Finish drawing the actual lines.
  18. Fill in the basic colors.
  19. Add the highlights and shadows.
  20. Finish the drawing by adding the cast shadow.

Little Princess

  1. Start with the egg-shaped outline of the head.
  2. Add the outline of the face.
  3. Draw the outline sketches for the body and the lower part of the dress.
  4. Add the shoulder pads, arms, hands, and an oval on the middle for the accessory.
  5. Add a bun outline sketch on top of the little princess’ hair.
  6. Draw the actual lines for the ears and jawline.
  7. Draw the actual lines of the face.
  8. Add the actual lines for the hair.
  9. Add a tiara on little princess’ head.
  10. Draw the actual lines for the arms and hands.
  11. Draw the actual lines for the lower part of the dress.
  12. Erase the unnecessary lines.
  13. Fill in the basic colors.
  14. Add the highlights and shadows.
  15. Add the cast shadow to finish the draft.
