Draw a Simple Fairy

Use your imagination and form a picture of a fairy. Undoubtedly, she will be light and airy, with wings and gossamer clothing that flows behind as she gracefully floats among linden trees, so strong and sturdy. Now you can capture this visage with just a bit of help, starting at Step 1, below.

Steps

  1. Start by making a head and a neck and then bring it down as though the fairy were wearing a long dress.
  2. Now you can add the arms to your fairy. Erase any lines that are not supposed to be there.
  3. This is a good time to add the legs. To do this step, you should draw the legs so that they fit into the dress. Then, you can make the legs bend a little bit to show that the fairy is flying.
  4. Here is where you can get a little creative. Now that you have the body, you can add wings! Your wings can look however you want them to. Add designs of your choice. When you finish your fairy, you can even add glitter.
  5. Now you can add the hair. I like to make the hair left out with a small flower in it (you can't see the flower in this because of the camera quality)
  6. Now is when you make the face. I like to make the eyes big to make them look a little innocent and excited. When I think of fairies, I think of wild, excited, and innocent people who can fly. But remember, this is what you think; it's not what I think!
  7. This is the end. Make the dress and erase anything you need to. Add the hands and the feet. You can color your fairy in and hang her up on your wall :)Now you're done!
  8. Finished.
