  5. Draw triangles for the hooves. Draw eyes.
    • The eyes can be however you want

Tips

  • Try shading. This will add some dimension to your drawing, making it more realistic rather than flat.
  • Be creative on the eyes!
  • Use a pen to trace your pencil lines. This will make a crisp outline of the drawing, and make it stand out.
  • To be creative and add some type of pattern or some spots.
  • When you still have all your guideline drawings, use a pen to trace the stuff you want to keep. Then, just erase the rest, (the pen marks will remain).
  • Try drawing manes in other styles if you feel like drawing different horses.
  • Add a saddle or bridle for detail! Put it in a pasture or a stable, anywhere!
  • Try practicing different poses.
  • Color it with markers, crayons, color pencils, or paint.
  • If you want, add a horn or wings to make it a unicorn or pegasus!
  • Sketch lightly when you draw this horse so you can erase easier.
  • Practice beforehand on a separate piece of paper from the piece you want your final drawing to be on.

  • Be careful. You can end up cutting yourself while you are drawing---be careful for getting any paper cuts too!
