Drive a Go Cart Through Mud Without Getting Stuck
You will most likely succeed on driving your go cart through mud.
Steps
- Look for another way across the obstacle, if no way, then align front end with the obstacle.
- Approach the mud or water with a steady speed (around 5-10 mph)
- When back tires get in about 1' in mud from the dry land, then put the go cart into full throttle.
- If cart starts to bury, there are a # of things you can do
- You can slow down then go slowly, keep on the gas full throttle,
- When go cart almost reaches dry land on other side of obstacle,it's all good.
- Finally you should be able to drive away from the mud puddle nice, muddy, & in trouble.
Tips
- The worst thing you could possibly do is get the cart buried in over the tires so avoid burying it at all.
- Don't try to go in 2 much mud that might hit the bottom of the go cart and get hung up unless you got some friends to get you out.
- Be extra careful when doing steps 5 & 6 not sounds fun!!!!
Warnings
- Cart may tip over or move away when putting a rock on the gas pedal, so only go as far as you can with this object on the pedal or serious injury may occur.
