Easily Level up in Dead Rising

Many of you are frustrated on the hit game Dead Rising for the Xbox 360. Many of you want to reach high levels to show off. Read this guide and in no time you'll gain levels like crazy.

Steps

Going to the Bookstore

  1. Once you have access to the air ducts, go into the warehouse and to the mall.
  2. Next, take a right and around the stair area is a bookstore called Bachman's Bookporium. Go in it.
  3. Look around until you find a book called "Horror Novel 2" Pick it up.
  4. Continue the game normally until you reach the Entrance Plaza with brad.
  5. Up the stairs and around the corner there will be a bookstore called The Sinister Read. Go in it.
  6. Find the book called "Horror Novel 1" and pick it up.
  7. Now go into the park and to the parking lot. get in the car and go into the Maintenance Tunnel.
  8. Once you're in, take a left and then another left and take out all the zombies near the trucks.
  9. Then get out and get into the van.
  10. Go out the way you came in and continue. Every 50 zombies killed WILL get you 750 PP, and Every 1,000 zombies killed will get you about 30,000 PP!

Going to the Food Court

  1. Play the game up until Carlito appears at the Food Court. Near where you start out there's a few dishes on the wall.
  2. Shoot the plates with the gun and you get PP per dish destroyed. Plus a 10,000 bonus for all of them.
  3. (Don't worry if your guns run out. Talk to brad for another one.)
  4. In the Al Fresca Plaza. Go into the Flexin' exercise place.
  5. Run on all the treadmills and you'll get 20,000 PP. Then another 20,000 for destroying the sandbags.

Tips

  • When your are down in the tunnels, go into the big storage room and grab the Maintenance Tunnel Key. It leads from the Tunnels to Paradise Plaza. It helps a lot later in the game.
  • When starting a new game before the zombies enter the mall, look for the guy with the Shotgun in the lobby area, when the zombies kill him, find his body near the water and grab the Shotgun, it's a great crowd killer and helps get Prestige Points (PP) fast.

SMG locations

  • Jump onto the blue ledge by the staircase and on the last ledge it'll be there.
  • In the place where you fight Carlito the first time, on top of Chris' Fine foods.
  • In the fountain in Al Fresca Plaza.
  • The warehouse in the underground tunnels has a submachine gun.

Other General Tips

  • When using method 1, go to Columbian Roastmasters For OJ or pies in case your car breaks down.
  • If your car breaks down then use the zombie ride skill if you have it.
  • Don't use the Motorcycle!
  • List of Speed/Durability :
         .Motorbike: SPEED 3 / POWER 1
         .Red Car: SPEED 2 / POWER 2
         .White Car: SPEED 2 / POWER 3
         .Delivery Truck: SPEED 1 / POWER 4
  • If your car breaks down in the underground tunnels, use the shopping carts to get out.

Warnings

  • For Method 1 I suggest you know where you are going, set a route. If you're lost check the map (BACK BUTTON)
  • If you're car starts smoking, get to the nearest car fast.
