Fold a Towel Dog
Made from one bath and one hand towel, "Fido" is quite well house trained and will give your guests a warm and fuzzy welcome. Cruise lines and B&B Motels use these to make their guest's stay memorable.

Steps
Preparing the Towel
- Lay the bath towel flat.
- Roll the ends to the center.
Folding the Towel
- Bend one roll to lay over the other as shown. Set aside.
- Lay hand towel flat.
- Fold it in half.
- Fold the 'open' end toward the 'fold' end approximately 2/3rds or 3/4ths of the way, leaving 2 inches (5cm) uncovered.
- Tuck the folded edge under.
- Hold the corner, pull it up and toward the center.
- Repeat for opposite end.
- Roll ends to middle.
- Pull the front flaps down.
- Right flap tucked under, left flap still waiting to be tucked in, forming the "forehead".
- Place "head" on "body". Display proudly!
Tips
- Roll the towel tightly. Then the dog won't fall apart as easy. Have someone hold the other end or put something heavy on the side you are not rolling.
- Use an extra plush towel for the dog's body; thinner towels don't work as well.
- Try hard to use your imagination to see a dog, because the finished product does not actually look anything like a dog.
