Fry Cinnamon Apples
Make mouth-watering fried cinnamon apples tempting to anyone. For the Autumn party or a birthday bash.
Ingredients
- 1 Golden Delicious (works best!) or Granny Smith apple
- Dash or two of cinnamon
- Real Butter
Steps
- Slice apples in to very thin chunks (will become soft thoroughly)
- Put a thick slice of butter into frying pan (real butter is best!)
- Put apples in frying pan and let sit for (give or take) 5 minutes.. You may want to watch the apples during this time to make sure they do not burn.
- After apples become as soft as you would like, put a VERY SMALL amount of cinnamon (a dash or so) into the pan... Why so little cinnamon??? So that your apples do not burn. Toss in pan for 30 seconds to a minute
- Place your apples in your favorite serving bowl and enjoy!
- Finished.
Tips
- If you want, you can leave the apples in the pan for a couple extra minutes so that they have a little crunch to them.
- Put only a small amount of cinnamon in the pan to prevent the apples from burning.
- Figure on using one apple per serving. Use a dash of cinnamon and butter in each serving.
- Use a spatula or handle of frying pan to toss around the apples.
- Cook the apples until they're soft for the best texture and taste.
Warnings
- Don't cook the apples too long- this can result in them becoming somewhat mushy.
