Get Picked on Survivor
Have you seen the reality show, Survivor, sweeping the nation? Well, every season 16-20 lucky, average people just like you have an opportunity to go to in unknown land and change their lives forever. Do you want to be one of them? Here's how.
Steps
- Get familiar with the show. Scan the website, find out about the people the put on the show, and watch as many seasons of it as possible.
- Completely fill out the online application and upload your video and picture here. Be creative! When asked with three things you'd take on the island with you, don't say, "food, water, and shelter". Stand out!
- Make a video about yourself. Don't be shy about yourself. So to speak, be yourself, but an extreme version. Watch other survivor audition videos to get ideas. The video must be under three minutes or CBS will not even consider it!
- Don't rely on gimmicks and obnoxious attempts to make yourself "stand out." Show yourself off and let them understand who you are! They already know how much you want to be on the show.
- Once comfortable with your video and form, send it in! The only thing left to do is wait.
Tips
- Be confident and not afraid of being shown in your worst possible light, as well as your best. Be yourself!
- Be unique! If you're just like everyone else you will easily be looked over.
- Have great skills and ability. Practice getting in shape and surviving without the lifestyles of a house.
- Contestants are picked for the following traits:
- Strong-willed
- Outgoing
- Adventurous
- Physically and mentally adept
- Adaptable to new environments
- Interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities

- Don't be surprised if you're not picked. Hundreds of thousands of people try out!
