Get a Teenage Girl to Like You
So, you're a teenage boy and there's a girl you like. You already figured out what not to do. Now here's some advice on how to be smooth and get that girl to like you, too!

Steps
- Listen to her. You should always be the one to take the time to pay attention to what a girl is saying. It is never good if a man constantly interrupts a girl while talking. Wait until she is done speaking, and then ask a question related to what she said.
- Be her friend first. You don't have to hit on her right away, first try talking to her and getting to know her, if you haven't already, and be nice to her.
- Try to impress her. Try to get her to go to places where you do things that may impress her. For example, if you skateboard fairly well, you could try saying something like, "Hey, have you ever gone skateboarding before? It's really fun. Maybe you could come and watch me sometime." Don't go overboard with this step though because then you will probably come across as a bragger and a showoff. What girl wants a guy who tries to outdo everyone and talks about nothing but his own achievements?
- Try breaking the touch barrier. Sometimes girls will make the first move and do it, but manning up and doing it yourself can often be better especially if the girl you like is shy. Don't be scared to do this yourself. Try offering to help her put her coat on, hold out your hand to her when she is walking on uneven ground to help her keep her balance, or, if you are really close friends and this wouldn't seem awkward to her, then hug her in a friendly manner either to congratulate her on an achievement of hers or you can even use it as a greeting.
- Smile a lot. Don't smile too much,(or you'll creep her out), but flashing her those pearly whites towards her once in a while will make her feel special.
- Ask for help. Showing a weak side might go against everything you've ever considered "sexy," but it will make the girl feel important if she can help you with something. Go up to her and ask for her help on a homework assignment. Not only will she likely help you, but you'll be able to get emotionally and physically closer to her.
- Don't seem desperate. Always asking her out or obsessing will be a turn off.
Tips
- Never hide how you feel. Treat her like she's the most amazing girl in the world because if you like her enough to look up how to get her to like you online, you probably think she is.
- Don't make fun of her or say anything mean to her. Saying "Just kidding" doesn't cut it. Insulting a girl will definitely not get her to like you. Even teasing can be taken the wrong way, so make sure that when you are teasing her that it is completely obvious that you are just teasing.
- Girls love spontaneous acts of affection.
- After a couple of weeks to months (don't wait too long though because they might lose interest or think you are not interested) lead her on. Let her know in a sly way that you want to move out the friendship zone. Tell her how you feel and then see whether she is following along and gets where you are going. Then pop the question. Always try to find a way to let the know that they can think about it & that you don't need an answer right there and then. Tell her that you've been meaning to ask but you just didn't know how to. That makes girls feel special.
- Tell her that you want to get her number but don't rush into it. When you're getting ready to leave ask her for her phone number.
- Try to always find a way to hang out with them. If your parents are people who don't really let you hang out a lot, especially with girls, then tell them that you're going to hang out with your buddies from school. (For some advice, you should probably have 1 or 2 friends that you are cool with come with you just so your parents can't say anything). Of course, if you don't want to lie to your parents, then don't. Instead hang out with the girl you like a lot at school or have a heart-to-heart talk with your parents about how you would like to hang out with this girl more.
- Corny pick up lines are always cute, just don't use them too often.
- Never stop calling her. Try to call her everyday. Always let her know that you are interested. Don't always bring up how you like her though. Once or twice every time you talk to her on the phone. Tell her what you like about her. Don't overdo it because you might start to seem desperate and you never want a girl to think you are desperate because they will either have the upper hand or they will start to lose interest because girls like dudes with a soft side and a strong side (not always physically).
- Make friends with other girls. They will see your good qualities and they might talk to their girl friends, maybe even the girl you are interested in, about your good qualities. That way she will better understand that you are worth it.
- If she says yes don't forget to thank her for giving you this chance and then either hug her or just walk away and let her know that you will talk to her when you get home but not in a rude way. If she says no, don't get upset, maybe she has a lot on her mind, or maybe she isn't ready for a relationship. She could also want to say yes but she is shy. Either way, be cool and let her know that you respect her decision. This doesn't mean for you to stop talking to her either. This just means she might not want to move out of the friendship zone or she could be waiting to see how you react, or she just might not see you as someone that she would have a relationship with. Either way, be respectful to her!
- Don't do anything immature, reckless, or dangerous. Girls would be impressed by guys who act maturely and use good judgement.
- Don't call or text her too much. If she tells you to leave her alone, that means she's got a headache/wants to take a break from you.
Warnings
- Don't get attached.
- Don't lead her on. If you don't like her enough to be in a real relationship with her then don't make her think that you feel about her in a romantic way.
- If she has a boyfriend, back off.
