Install a PlayStation 2

Here is how to install a PS2 on a TV. When you're done, it's game time!

Steps

  1. Take the PS2 console, and gather up all of the cords.
  2. Plug in both parts of the AC adapter. When they're put together, plug it in! If you can't, get an extension cord. Plug in the other cord to the other part of the cord into the PS2.
  3. Find the cord with the red, yellow, and white pegs, and plug the red, yellow, and white cords into the TV (or just yellow and white,) and install the long black peg into the back of the PS2.
  4. If you have a memory card, you can put it in the face of the PS2, just above the controller plugs. Most of them are 8 megabytes, but some are 16. If you have multiple games, it helps to buy the 16 MB card. If you have two, that's okay!
  5. Install the controllers. If there are two, install both of them. If not, plug in the sole controller.
  6. Turn the button on, and you should see a green light. If you have an older PS2, turn the back control button to I, then you should see a red light. Press the red button, and it should turn green.
  7. Good luck, and happy playing!
