Make a PlayStation 2 LEGO Memory Card Holder
Do you keep losing your memory cards? Now you can put your childhood LEGO® blocks to work by making a custom Manage Files on a Gamecube Memory Card holder that will keep them all in one place and can be built to accommodate as many memory cards (and in as many colors) as you want.
Steps
- Start with an 8x8 plate. You could also use two 4x8 plates or four 2x8 plates, but the finished dimensions have to be 8x8 for a Playstation memory card to fit.
- Attach two 1x8 bricks on opposite sides and one 2x6 brick between them as pictured. If you use plates instead of bricks, be sure to use three. The finished height must be equal to the height of one brick for the memory card to fit.
- Test fit the holder with a memory card. Adjust as necessary.
- Attach four 2x8 plates from end to end as shown. Now you should have one slot for one memory card.
- To make more slots, repeat steps 2-4 as needed.
Tips
- It is easier if you use larger pieces that will fit across the 8x8 base. Long pieces help, too.
- This will also work for other memory cards. You just need to adjust the measurements.
- This is especially useful if you have a memory card for multiple games or a large capacity card that won't fit in the game cases.
- To remove the memory card, remove the top of the case.
Warnings
- This can break easily if you squeeze it too hard.
- Keep LEGO blocks away from infants that could swallow or choke on them.

- Money (if you don't have enough LEGO pieces)
