Know What Career You Want

Have you been asking your self,"What career do I want?" If so read on.

Steps

1. Know what your intrests are. This is so you know what kind of career you want.
   • To know what your intrests are think about what kinds of books, movies, and TV shows are interesting to you. (Crime, Drama, Comedy, Sports, News, ect.)
2. Study that kind of book, TV show, or movie and decide why it interests you. Then find what a character does that interests you.
3. Research that job and see what it takes to have that job. (Education, experience, money.)
4. Decide if that job is right for you.(Can you do it, are you willing to do the work?) If not repeat steps 1-4.
5. Try to see in person what the job is like or talk to someone with that job. (Because believe it or not Hollywood lies.)

Tips

• Remember there are many jobs out there so just because you find one you like now doesn't mean you won't find another.

Warnings

• Do not chose a job with any things that you do not like (EX. If you want to be a vet because you like helping animals but don't like seeing them suffer remember animals sometimes die in veterinarian offices.) (EX.2 Don't be a surgeon if you don't like blood:)
