Tips
- This recipe will take approximately 10 minutes to prepare and 20 minutes to cook.
- If you would like a cheesier flavor, add a handful of shredded cheese to the mix too.
- To minimize the "meatball" patty shape in Step 5, before baking, gently press a small indentation into the middle of the patty with your thumb. This will result in a flatter profile patty when done cooking.
- If you don't want to use commercially produced dry onion soup mix, make your own: Mix 1/4 cup dried onion flakes, 2 tablespoons beef stock granules or crushed beef stock cube, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes, 1/8 teaspoon celery seed, 1/8 teaspoon paprika and ground pepper to taste. Use in the amount directed above.
- Enjoy with a matching beer when serving.
