Make Fluffy Slime Without Borax
Fluffy slime is a soft and - as the name suggests - fluffy slime that's fun to squeeze, poke, and play with, but many fluffy slime recipes require a borax solution, which can be difficult or even impossible to obtain. Don't panic - there's a way around this. You can still make fluffy slime with everyday household materials!
Ingredients
- 4 oz glue
- 4 oz warm water
- Shaving cream
- Food coloring (optional)
- Lotion (optional)
- laundry detergent
Steps
- Pour the glue into a bowl.
- Combine the warm water with the glue.
- Add in your food colouring and mix thoroughly. If the food colouring is a particularly potent one, start by adding two drops, so you don't stain your hands.
- Add in the shaving cream and mix thoroughly. When it's fully combined in, the texture should resemble marshmallow cream.
- Add in a few pumps of lotion for a stretchier slime.
- Add in the laundry detergent. Don't add it all at once - you risk your slime hardening.
- Knead your slime. Once the slime has become too solid to stir, use your hands to start kneading it to make it less sticky.
- Play with your slime! Store it in an airtight container.
Warnings
- Fluffy slime can get sticky if you don't add enough laundry detergent. Keep it off materials like clothes and carpet.
