Make Lipstick Using Eye Shadow

Ever lost your favourite lipstick colour? This may sound odd, but you can re-create your favourite lipstick, by using eye shadow! simple, just follow these steps then you don't have to go out and buy new lipstick anymore. It takes 3 minutes!

Steps

  1. Pour Vaseline (petroleum jelly) from the tin (or lip balm) into an empty bowl.
  2. Scrape eye-shadow (using the end of a tea-spoon) into the bowl full of Vaseline/lip balm.
  3. Mix the eyeshadow and the Vaseline/Lip balm together (using the tea-spoon) until a fairly nice colour appears. Add more eyeshadow if the color is not dark enough, and add more Vaseline if the mixture has too much eyeshadow.
  4. Put the spare lipstick into a small container.

Tips

  • Make sure it is lip-safe, some blues and greens will contain toxins.
  • Have a clean container ready!
  • Make sure your fingers are clean before you apply

    • Colors with "chromium" in the name (some of the greens)
