Make Peach Juice
Peach juice is delicious made fresh from a glut of peaches. It can be drunk on its own, or combined with other juices, cocktails, or punches to add peach flavor to the drinks.
Ingredients
- 6 peaches
- 150 ml (2/3 C) water
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice
- 2 tablespoons (25 grams) sugar
- 2 ice cubes
Steps
- Slice the peaches in half. Cut or scoop out the peach flesh.
- Drop the peach flesh into a blender. Add the water, lime juice, sugar and ice cubes.
- Blend to liquefy the ingredients.
- Pour into a pitcher or jug for storage. Alternatively, pour direct into glasses for immediate serving. Add some ice cubes, and a garnish of a peach slice and mint leaf.
- Finished.
Tips
- Other soft fruit such as nectarines and plums can be made into a juice following this same recipe.
- The sugar can be left out if you already find the peaches sweet enough.
- This will store for 24 hours, covered, in the fridge.

- Knife and cutting board
- Spoon for scooping (optional if not using knife to remove skin)
- Serving glasses or pitcher/jug
