- ½ tsp. garlic powder

Steps
Simple Red Lobster Biscuits
- Preheat your oven to 400ºF (204ºC).
- Combine the Bisquick® and cold butter in a medium bowl. Use a large fork or a pastry cutter to combine 2 ½ cups of Bisquick® baking mix and 4 tbsp. of cold butter. Mix the ingredients for just 30 second or so -- you should avoid mixing them too thoroughly. Leave small chunks of butter in the mix.
- Add the cheddar cheese, milk, and garlic to the mixture. Add 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese, ¾ cup of cold whole milk, and ¼ tsp. of garlic to the mixture. Mix the ingredients by hand until they're combined, for about 1 minute or so. Again, avoid over-mixing them.
- Place the dough on an ungreased cookie sheet. Place ¼-cup portions of the dough on an ungreased cookie sheet. You can use a large spoon or an ice cream scoop.
- Bake the dough for 15-17 minutes. Bake the biscuits until their tops begin to turn light brown. Then, remove them from the oven.
- Make the garlic butter. You can do this while the biscuits are cooking. Melt 2 tbsp. of butter in a small bowl and stir in ½ tsp. of garlic powder and ¼ tsp. of dried parsley flakes.
- Spread the garlic butter over the tops of the biscuits. Use a brush to spread the garlic butter over the tops of the biscuits until you've used it all. Let the biscuits cool for at least 5 minutes.
- Serve. Enjoy these biscuits while they're hot.
Creamy Red Lobster Biscuits
- Preheat your oven to 475ºF (246ºC).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper on a non-stick baking mat. Set it aside.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper together in a large bowl. Whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. of baking powder, ½ tsp. of baking soda, 1 tsp. of granulated sugar, ¾ tsp. of salt, ½ tsp. of garlic powder, and ¼ tsp. of cayenne pepper together in a bowl. Set the bowl aside when you're done.
- Stir the buttermilk and melted butter together in a medium bowl. Stir together 1 cup of cold buttermilk and ½ cup of melted unsalted butter together until the mixture forms small clumps.
- Add the buttermilk mixture to the flour mixture. Mix them gently until the dough forms and there are no dry ingredients left.
- Place the dough on the baking sheet. Use a greased ¼-cup measuring cup to scoop out the dough evenly and place it onto the sheet. Make sure that all of the dough is separated by over an inch.
- Bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes. Bake them until they're golden brown. Remove the biscuits from the oven when they're ready.
- Make the garlic butter mixture. You can make this mixture while the biscuits are baking. To do this, stir together 2 tbsp. of melted unsalted butter, ½ tsp. of garlic powder, and 1 tsp. of minced parsley.
- Brush the biscuits with the garlic butter mixture. Let them cool for 5 minutes.
- Serve. Enjoy these hot biscuits at any time.
