Make a Cheap "Flash Grenade"
This is an easy to make, inexpensive "bomb" that makes light and a jet like sound. It can be used to relieve boredom, or perhaps as a special effect in movies.
Steps
- Place a soft paper product (Such as tissues or toilet paper) on a flat surface.
- Hold a sparkler above, bending the metal rod so the grey powder falls onto the center of the paper.
- Roll the paper and twist one end, so it does not allow the powder to escape.
- Put a fuse in the open end, ensure it touches the powder and protrudes from the paper as well.
- Twist the open end, so it clings to the fuse and does not allow powder out.
- You have now made a "flash grenade",
Tips
- Find a nice area to use this, not by anything flammable.
- The more sparklers you use, the brighter the flash will be, but also more dangerous.
- Wear eye protection.
Warnings
- Do not set off in your hand, it reaches very high temperatures and could easily burn you.
- This could easily start a fire if not lit in a safe area.
- Do not use against people or animals. It's illegal to use as a weapon.
