Make a Cream Filling for Chocolates
Chocolates are always delicious and beloved by most. Cream-filled chocolates are an added treat; making cream-filled chocolates can also be profitable as they sell very easily. It is surprisingly cheap to make your own, as you don't need that many ingredients or tools. Naturally, the better quality chocolate you use, the more expensive it gets, but you do get out what you put in. This how-to is about making the cream filling for your homemade chocolate.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks softened butter
- 2 lb powdered sugar or icing sugar (4 cups)
- +/- 3 tbsp milk (just enough milk to make the cream workable, thinner than play-dough)
- Melted chocolate (milk, dark or white)
Steps
- Mix the softened butter, powdered sugar and milk together until smooth and pliable.
- Add flavouring or colouring to make the chocolates more interesting (only a tiny bit as too much will make the mixture too milky).
- Roll mixture into balls, about the size of a tablespoon.
- Place the balls on a buttered cookie sheet and freeze until firm.
- Dip the balls in the melted chocolates once firm.
- Place the dipped balls on a buttered cookie sheet to cool and set. You can speed up the process by putting the chocolates in the fridge to cool and set, but only for a few minutes.
- Take a bite as a reward or to taste. This step is entirely optional.
Tips
- Experiment with different mixtures or flavours.
- Don't leave the chocolates in the fridge too long.
