Make a Cute Duct Tape Bracelet
With about 6 inches (15cm) of Colored Duct Tape, you can make adorable, spunky bracelets for anyone.
Steps
- Get some duct tape. Any color or width will do,
- Cut a piece of duct tape 3 inches longer than the distance around your wrist.
- Set the tape on a table or desk in front of you so that it is longer left to right than top to bottom and the sticky side is up. Start rolling the tape around itself from bottom to top. The bigger loops around itself, the wider the bracelet will be.
- Once it is rolled, you can glue charms or beads on the tape or decorate it with nail polish. There are possibly a million ways to decorate it.
- After the tape is completely rolled and decorated how you want, cut a thin piece of tape to fasten the bracelet around your wrist and enjoy your new accessory.
- Done!
Alternate Method
- Find some cool duct tape color, like neon green or pink. Select the color you like best and that will match your outfits.
- Cut a length of duct tape the size of your wrist, but add an extra inch (2.5cm).
- Cut from the end lengthwise one inch (2.5cm). Then cut across to the right or left, taking out a section of the bracelet.
- Fold the tape in-half lengthwise, so no adhesive is showing except the section you left in the previous step.
- Wrap around wrist and stick the adhesive to the other side.
- Show off your amazing new bracelet.
Warnings
- Sometimes you must cut the bracelet off to remove, but usually it won't be that sticky and it will come off if you give it a tug.
