Make a Fluffy 3 Egg Omelette

Looking for something good to whip up for breakfast? Well, a light, yummy, 3-egg omelette is your answer. Here is how to make it.

Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs
  • Milk
  • Salt
  • Olive Oil
  • Cheese (for grating)
  • Chopped vegetables

Steps

  1. Preheat your pan to medium heat.
  2. Crack 3 eggs into a bowl.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of milk into your egg mix. Do not add more than a tbsp, or else your omelette will be burnt and ruined. The milk will make your omelette nice, fluffy and light.
  4. Sprinkle some salt into your mixture. This will add flavour to the omelette.
  5. Chop up any vegetables you want, and add them to the mixture (optional).
  6. Whisk with a fork, well. Make sure you see heaps of bubbles!
  7. Drizzle Olive Oil onto your pan. Swish it around so it covers the pan.
  8. Add your egg mixture to the pan. If you hear a sizzle, you are doing it right.
  9. Get a rubber spatula and make sure the edges of the omelette do not stick.
  10. Push one edge up, and let the excess egg fall under the edge after about 1 minute. Release.
  11. Sprinkle grated cheese onto the omelette, and sprinkle some salt over too.
  12. Get a bigger spatula, and flip your omelette, so it is half on top of half after approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds. Keep moving this around the pan, so it doesn't stick.
  13. Take your omelette out of the pan, and onto the plate. Let it sit for about 2 minutes, then serve.
