- 3 Eggs
- Milk
- Salt
- Olive Oil
- Cheese (for grating)
- Chopped vegetables
Steps
- Preheat your pan to medium heat.
- Crack 3 eggs into a bowl.
- Add 1 tbsp of milk into your egg mix. Do not add more than a tbsp, or else your omelette will be burnt and ruined. The milk will make your omelette nice, fluffy and light.
- Sprinkle some salt into your mixture. This will add flavour to the omelette.
- Chop up any vegetables you want, and add them to the mixture (optional).
- Whisk with a fork, well. Make sure you see heaps of bubbles!
- Drizzle Olive Oil onto your pan. Swish it around so it covers the pan.
- Add your egg mixture to the pan. If you hear a sizzle, you are doing it right.
- Get a rubber spatula and make sure the edges of the omelette do not stick.
- Push one edge up, and let the excess egg fall under the edge after about 1 minute. Release.
- Sprinkle grated cheese onto the omelette, and sprinkle some salt over too.
- Get a bigger spatula, and flip your omelette, so it is half on top of half after approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds. Keep moving this around the pan, so it doesn't stick.
- Take your omelette out of the pan, and onto the plate. Let it sit for about 2 minutes, then serve.
